Internacional Design Hotel Lisbon- The Arrival
From Lisbon International Airport it takes approximately 15 minutes to arrive at Rossio Square where the hotel is located. Checkin was efficient even though they made us wait 1 hour until official check in time. Not sure if the room really wasn’t ready or if that is the hotel’s policy. We waited at the hotel bar while ordering wine and a small snack.
Internacional Design Hotel Lisbon -The Room
The rooms are spread over four floors, each with a different theme and character. Our room was on the second floor and had everything we needed for a two nights stay. Wifi was available free of charge in all areas.
The bathroom is unfortunately not very functional. There’s no space to put the toiletry bags or clothes. The Occitane products on the other hand are really nice.
We had a small balcony overlooking Rua Augusta, the main pedestrian street with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

Internacional Design Hotel Lisbon – Restaurante Bastardo
The breakfast buffet was really good and there was plenty of choice. And for only 5€ per person a real bargain! The selection of hot and cold dishes changes daily. Look at the interior design of the restaurant! It is really one of a kind.
