The first stop on our weekend in Alsace is Le Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. The medieval castle has been beautifully restored and is well worth a visit. Not to mention the impressive views on the countryside and vineyards below.
Adress: F-67600 Orschwiller; 9€ for adults
Next up is Route des vins d’Alsace or Alsace wine route with stops in the most picturesque towns you probably have ever seen.
A weekend in Alsace
Little snack at Au Lion – 6, Place de la Sinne
Unfortunately closed during our stay, we heard good things about the restaurant Auberge du Parc du Carola in Ribeauvillé.
Lunch or dinner at Auberge du Bouc Bleu : Locally sourced products perfectly prepared, paired with wines from the region.
Bakery with delicious bread: L’enfariné – 29, rue du Genéral de Gaulle
Keep your heads up, you never know what you’ll see 🙂
Wine tasting at Wolfberger – 6, Grand- Rue in Eguisheim
