We flew Etihad Business Class Boeing 777 from Paris to Malé via Abu Dhabi on the way to the Maldives.
The welcome at the Business Class counter in Paris was great “Bonjour Madame, bonjour Monsieur, bienvenue chez Etihad”. All you need for a good start. Checking our two bags was a quick process and we were swiftly on our way to the gate.

The welcome onboard the Boeing 777, was good as well. As soon as we are seated, the cabin crew offers a selection of drinks including Champagne. Of course, that was our choice.
On the feet rest, you find a blanket, an amenity kit and the menu. The blanket is so plushy that you only wanted to snuggle up in the lie flat bed. The amenity kit contains Scaramouche + Fandango products including skin care, toothbrush and a sleep pack.
Shortly after take off comes the second round of Champagne, along with cashews and almonds. If you are allergic to nuts, just ask for potato chips.

The menu offers a great choice of food and wines. As a starter we always opt for the Arabic Mezze when we are flying on a Middle East Carrier. This entree consists of a selection of hot and cold dishes. We really recommend it!
For the main course I choose the braised beef while the Mr. goes for the Arabic-spiced chicken breast. I was really disappointed by the quality of the main dish on this particular flight. I hardly touched the meat.
As I am not into dessert, I got the selection of cheese while hubby chose the raspberry and chocolate gâteau.
As soon as you’re finished eating, the attentive cabin staff clears the table so that you can enjoy the rest of the flight. Whether you want to work, sleep or use the inflight entertainment, Etihad Business Class provides great intimacy.

All in all a very pleasant flight. The crew was friendly and professional but what we like the most when flying Etihad is the seat layout ensuring privacy.
