The flight from Munich to Seoul was operated by an Airbus A340-600 and we had seats in the new Lufthansa Business Class.
The airplane has 44 business seats divided in two cabins in a 2-2-2- configuration. As soon as we boarded, A and C got a full set of games while the adults were offered a glass of Champagne.

The flight time to Seoul was 9 hours, leaving Munich at 4 pm. Soon after take off, the second round of Champagne arrived together with cashew nuts and the menu.
It was the “new” Business Class where the seats are convertible in an almost flat bed. Nevertheless, the sound of the seat electronic is quite loud and can be annoying if your neighbor keeps adjusting his seat. The seat is very narrow and hard. Athough the softness can be adjusted it hardly makes any difference. The footrest is awfully small and cramped. Privacy is unfortunately a big issue and you’d better know your seat neighbor!
The Lufthansa amenity bag comes in a Samsonite clutch. Products are basic but include everything you need. There’s also a small bottle of water in the seat.
The Lufthansa amenity bag for kids in Business Class is top-notch. When you think they can’t do any better, they manage to surprise you yet again. How cool is this amenity kit?
Best. Kids Amenity Kit. Ever.
The screen in front of us was of a good size and offered a nice choice of entertainment and flight following. The Bose noise cancelling headset works fine.
About one hour after take off we were served a three courses dinner, accompanied with good quality wine. All the food was fresh, tasty, and presented in a nice way. The crew was really friendly and professional.

The aircraft was equipped with an inflight wifi connection. We didn’t use it this time but the prices are reasonable if you need to use the internet connection. It’s 3 Euro for 1 hour or 17 for the whole flight.
What we enjoyed the most
• crew friendliness
• kids amenity kit
What we liked less
• seat comfort and privacy
