The Oberoi Dubai is located in Business Bay, only minutes away from the Dubai Mall and a short 20-minute drive from the International airport.
Arriving at the hotel was very classy. As soon as our car stopped in front of the main entrance, the Oberoi Dubai personnel openend the doors, took care of our luggage and brought us to the front desk. Checkin staff greeted us and because we had a suite, they brought us directly there to complete the checkin formalities.
We followed our host to the Suite, and when the door opened, we were amazed. Behind the door, a large corridor leading to the heart of the luxurious Suite.
The Oberoi Dubai – The Family Suite
On the right, a huge living room, a desk and a dining table. On the other side, the master bedroom and an elegant marble bathroom with amazing views on the Burj Khalifa.
The bath tub with the view on the Burj Khalifa is stunning! There may even have been fights about who is allowed to use the bath… Look who won!
All the windows go from floor-to-ceiling, making the suite very bright with amazing views on the skyline.
The Oberoi Dubai – Bringing personalized service to a new level
In the evening our private butler brought us a very special gift, an assortment of sweets with some pictures and our logo in chocolate. Actually the second day we got an other set of sweets, and the last day the kids got a small present. To say we were utterly spoiled would be an understatement!
We’ve seen a lot but how amazing is this? Personalization at its best!
The Oberoi Dubai – Fitness
The Oberoi has a state-of-the-art 24- hour fitness room with both cardio and weight equipment. Water, fruits, nuts and towels or of course also available.
The Oberoi Dubai – Pool
The pool area is very nice and despite the fact that it is surrounded by high buildings, it is sunny most of the time. The pool itself is 25×13 meters so perfect for both swimming and relaxing. The service from the pool attendees is attentive and friendly. As soon as you arrive, they bring complimentary bottled water, sunscreen, Evian facial spray and icy fruit bars. What to ask more?
The Oberoi Dubai – Breakfast at Nine7One
The breakfast is a nice buffet with a tremendous choice of dishes from around the world. May it be croissants, sushis, dimsum or a very large range of traditional Indian dishes. You have the possibility to eat inside or at their pleasant ouside terrasse, surounded by water.
The Oberoi Dubai – The Restaurants
The hotel has 3 restaurants, the Nine7One serving fine international cuisine, Ananta specialized in Indian cuisine and the Lobby lounge serving light snacks 24h. We did not have the opportunity to try them as we dined out two of three evenings at the Oberoi. The only time we had dinner at the hotel was the first night, but as everybody was a bit tired, we opted for room service. Having dinner on our terrace with the view on the Burj was just fantastic.

Out of the three hotels we stayed at during the 7 days in Dubai, the Oberoi is definitely the one we liked the most. First for its convenient location in downtown Dubai, its very spacious and luminous rooms, its relaxing pool and above all the friendliness and high level of professionalism of the employees. The whole experience at the Oberoi Dubai surpassed our expectations. We’ll be back!
