International e-Fluent Spot 5 and Saint James Albany Paris Hotel Review

At the end of November I was invited to Paris for the e-Fluent spot, which is the biggest french parent bloggers event. This year Parole de Maman made the event international by gathering 110 international bloggers at the Saint James Albany Paris Hotel. What an honor being chosen to represent Luxembourg! Selectour Afat organized the flight from Luxembourg to Paris and a chauffeur waited for me at the airport.

After getting our hair done and professional make up we spent the Gala evening on the Seine River. Paris en Scène is a dinner cruise were we were treated to Champagne and Foie-gras. Just sit back in the comfortable chair facing the windows and enjoy the sights along the Seine.

The next day was spent at the e- Fluent spot at Carreau du Temple. We were able to talk with brands, try new products, attend conferences and workshops linked to childhood and blogging. The 3 days were perfect and the whole team from Parole de Mamans did an amazing job! Special thanks to Sophie who is responsible for the international bloggers and made this first edition a huge success!

Now to the review of the hotel…

Saint James Albany Paris Hotel

The Saint James Albany Paris Hotel is centrally located on rue de Rivoli, opposite the Tuileries Garden and only steps away from Place de la Concorde on one side and the Louvre on the other.

Housed in a heritage building, there are 200 rooms, Suites and Appartments available. The inner courtyard is a lovely place to have a drink during the warmer days in Paris. The staff at the front desk is friendly and checked me in, in a record time. During my stay they were always very kind and helpful.

Saint James Albany Paris Hotel – The Room

I was actually allocated an apartment that could have welcomed the entire family. First, a living room with an entirely equipped kitchen, washing machine, convertible sofa and separate toilet. Next to it, a bedroom plus bathroom equipped with a shower and another toilet. The Saint James Albany provides L’Occitane amenities and also bathrobes and slippers.

Saint James Albany Paris Hotel – Breakfast

The breakfast is buffet style and offers a decent choice of hot and cold food. Unfortunately, there is no service for tea and coffee at the table or maybe there were just too many bloggers 🙂

Saint James Albany Paris Hotel – Pool and Spa

The Pool and Spa are located in the basement of the hotel. Although I had no time to try the facilities, I was able to check them out. The Deep Nature Spa offers several treatment rooms, one for couples, a relaxation room and a Hammam. The pool area is trendy but there are only a couple of loungers available so this can be an issue if a lot of people use the facility at the same time.

What I enjoyed the most

• Location
• Friendly and helpful staff

What I liked less

• Bathroom ( needs a refurbishment)

• Internet breakdown during the 3- day stay ( Was this a detox cure, a test, a hidden camera?)

The room I had at the Saint James Albany is perfect for families looking for appartment-style accommodations with hotel facilities.
